A razão porque não tenho actualizado este blog é porque estive envolvida num projecto com uma data limite: hoje!
Eu sei crochet, aprendi-o com a minha mãe e umas tias minhas: já fiz rendas, pequenas e grandes, quadrados, pegas, casacos, com ponto baixo, com ponto alto, com combinação de pontos, etc.
Mas nada me tinha preparado para esta experiência!
No ano passado descobri os amigurumi: a criação de pequenos bonecos, tridimensionais, utilizando agulha, linha e a técnica de crochet.
Primeiro pesquisei na net mas, como nada me satisfazia...comprei um livro, claro! :)
Comprei o “Amigurumi World – Seriously cute crochet” de Ana Paula Rimoli.
Quando chegou, fiquei encantada com ele. É extremamente apelativo, as fotografias são lindas, tem a explicação de todos os pontos e as abreviaturas utilizadas (tudo em inglês).
Só uma coisa não me agradou, não tem esquemas.
Eu gosto de esquemas!
E no crochet, adoro!
Porque não preciso de saber a lingua. Basta-me olhar para os símbolos (que são internacionais) e rápidamente faço a interpretação!
Bom, um dos bonequinhos apresentados é um ouriço. Ou antes dois: uma mãe ouriço com o seu bébé! Adorei-o e decidi logo ali, que este seria o meu projecto de iniciação.
O que veio a ser uma decisão temerária que me lançou numa saga complicada!
Em primeiro lugar as instruções para o corpo e cabeça do ouriço mãe,o maior, falam de 28 linhas.
O meu ponto é bastante apertado, sempre foi, e o primeiro problema que enfrentei foi o começo: começa com uma corrente e depois é necessário fazer pontos baixos no primeiro ponto da corrente. Ora, como aquele ponto era muito apertado não conseguia. No entanto, se o deixasse demasiado laço, o trabalho ficava com um buraquito a meio que não se fechava.
Depois de muito começa e desmancha, começa e desmancha, achei que o trabalho ia de vento em popa:

I bought “Amigurumi World – Seriously cute crochet” from Ana Paula Rimoli.
When it arrived, I was delighted with him. It is extremely appealing, the photos are beautiful and it has explanations of all points and abbreviations used (all in English, of course).
Only one thing I did not like, do not have schemes.
I like schemes!
And in crochet, I love them!
That way I do not need to know the language. I need only look at the symbols (which are of international use) and quickly make the interpretation!
Well, one of the dolls shown is a hedgehog. Or rather, two: a mother hedgehog with her baby! I loved it and decided right there that this would be my project initiation.
What came to be a reckless decision that gave me a complicated saga!
First the instructions for the body and head of the hedgehog’s mother, talk about 28 lines.
My point is very tight, always was, and the first problem I faced was the beginning: you must start with a chain and then you need make several single stitches in the first one of the chain. As that point was so tight I could not. However, if I let it too loose, the work would have a little hole that didn’t close.
So, this took a while! But then, I thought that I was in business:

De acrescentar que como este é um trabalho que estava no saco dos pendentes, já se tinham passado alguns meses entre ter começado e chegado a este ponto.
Foi um momento de grande desilusão!!!
