Meias que se tornaram Bonecos (Socks that become Dolls)

Uma das coisas que descobri no ano passado foi que as meias podem tornar-se noutras coisas! Para mim foi uma descoberta absolutamente deslumbrante!!! :)
Adorei este livro "Stupid Sock Creatures: Making Quirky, Lovable Figures from Cast-off Socks" de john murphy.
Claro que depois de o ler, tive que experimentar!
Os primeiros que fiz foram adoptados pela minha pequena papgena como mascotes das suas bonecas (assim, cada uma tem o seu fofinho para dormir):)

So, the first ones, my little papgena gave them to two of her dolls. That way, everyone has a fluffy to sleep with! :)

Finally, I made one as a ‘rap’ gift to Christmas:

Para fazer o saquinho, que cozi ás mãos desta última, utilizei o topo de uma meia que era vermelha. O calcanhar utilizei-o para fazer o barrete.
To make the bag that I sew to the doll’s hands I use the top of a red sock. The heel becomes the cap.
Com a restante meia e utilizando este modelo que encontrei na Martha Stewart, fiz duas botinhas para 'embrulhar' mais dois presentes:
