Saias #5 e #6 / Skirts #5 e #6

These ones were very easy, too!
Little Papgena had these two dresses that become short, especially in chest area. The size was for two years but, because she is a skinny child, they last until this summer. But, they are both so cheerful that I was having a hard time to let them go:

So I took my seam-ripper and separate the body from the skirt, then did a hem with elastic inside and brought the back to the front:

Neste fiz botões forrados de propósito:
I cover some buttons, with the remains’ scraps, for this one:

And in this one, I discover in my stash, yellow bikes buttons that I think are really a match!
E o que fiz com a parte de cima do vestido?
Bem, a menina Lara ganhou 2 novas camisolas! )
And the bodies, what did I do with them?
Well, Miss Lara earns 2 new outfits! (I don’t seem to find the yellow’s picture! :P - do you like her swimsuit? I did it myself! From one child’s bikini top, I turned in two swimsuits for two dolls! )
;)

Note 1 – don’t be deceive, at our house every single doll is always naked, no matter the season, according to little Papgena everyone has heat!!!

Note 2 – I didn’t forget the sandwich but, it still too hot! We only need sheets in bed…

  2. Oh, cute! The original dresses were sooo pretty, I can see how it must have been hard to cut into them, but you did well!
Thank you for your comment. Hm, no, I don't have my email on the blog. I've been thinking about that, I only (mainly) use one e-mail-adress and I'm a bit hesitant to post it on the internet, I want to keep it forever. However, if I start checking my 2nd adress more frequently (than once every two or three months...) I will post it!

  3. The fabric is really adorable and would have been such a waste to throw it away! I love the way you salvaged it! So pretty!
