Última prenda de Natal / Last Christmas Gift

I completely forgot to show you my last handmade Christmas gift!!

This last 2 or 3 weeks have been so stressful: I cannot seem to be able to finish something!
Or I stuck with no ideas, or I do and have to undo because it’s not right or…I just don’t have the time to seat and finish something, anything!!! So, this blog is being on hold!
I’m very sorry!
Hopefully this strange mood will soon pass and I’ll be able to finish and show something!
(but I, really want to finish something or else I’ll be crazy very soon!!
So, back to this post issue: G. and M., the two little boys from the previous post, have, both, two younger brothers A. and P., who are almost 2 years old. For them, I didn’t have any idea whatsoever until I saw this tutorial, one week before Christmas, from Mrs Muffin and then I was back in business!

Her tutorial is very good so I’ll only add what I did different: my trees’ shapes are different and in the back I sew their initials in a stripe fabric.

I also sew a little red ribbon in the front; in the star and in two balls I put inside a little bell when I stufed them.

E já está!
And that's it!!

I'm trying to organize myself and I like this idea so much that I put aside, in a box, everything I need to make two other christmas trees. In the end of this year, two babies of our family will be almost an year and I think it's the perfect gift! This way I have a early start. I'll try to keep up the rest of the year!

Outras prendas de Natal (another christmas' gifts):

1 , 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

  3. Oh, they are lovely! Especially that you've sewn velcro on them so the kids could just rearrange the ornaments to suit their whims! Great job!

  5. I LOVE your trees!!!!
Especially the cute stars on top!

And I can totally understand about not getting stuff done. My to-do-list keeps growing each day and I can not seem to get stuff finished. It drives me nuts!!!!

Hopefully it will soon get better. And imagine we would be bored! That would be worse, right?! ;-)

    Love and thanks for linking!

  6. @ Crafty: Vou tentar!

@ Maya: yes, that really is the secret for the success, the children loved to move all the balls!

@ Sabi: Já me disseste sim e eu já te tinha agradecido a lembrança!

@ Mrs Muffins: Oh so glad you like it! I really love your idea! Be bored it would be much worse no doubt! lol

  7. I go through these phases too, when I am unproductive or can't get things to work out. Just this past week was like that for me. frustrating. so next week I'll take a break and work on just the simplest things until I re-charge my battery a little. it's impossible to be creative 100% of the time. sometimes we need breaks.... i'm with you...
